Hey, I’m Drew Birnie, Nestwire founder and data nerd.
I’d like to tell you I created Nestwire with some grand goal in mind. The truth is a lot simpler, however: I just think data doesn’t have to be complicated to be useful.
You see, for years now, I’ve worked with best-selling authors, and dozens of small businesses, entrepreneurs, bloggers, public officials, academics and so on.
And while they all came from different industries, they all used content in their business and they all had the same problem: They had so much data and no idea what to do with it.
That’s where I came in. I’d pore over their data, make a pretty report for them, and give them a handful of insights and recommendations on what they needed to do to improve their traffic, or their engagement, or their conversions, or all of them.
Then I would bill them.
It didn’t take me long to realize, though, that I used more or less the same process to analyze their web traffic data and come up with new ideas for each of my clients. So, I figured I could teach other people how to do it.
That’s how Nestwire was born.
